Hollywood – Our Hometown

It has been my honor to serve as the Mayor of Hollywood. Having grown up in Hollywood, it is wonderful being able to raise my children in such a fantastic place. As your Mayor, I fought for campaign finance reform, term limits, strict lobbying laws and budget reform. Under my administration, we changed the political tone and environment of our City.

No longer are corporations allowed to contribute money to campaigns in the City of Hollywood. No longer is City Hall perceived as having the “pay to play” culture which existed prior to my becoming Mayor. History has taught us that when one individual is in office too long, one becomes complacent. In this new era of civility and transparency, residents, regardless of their viewpoint, are treated with respect.
